VISUM goes Wurstmarkt
Get to know the biggest wine festival in the world! VISUM takes you to the “Dürkheimer Wurstmarkt”!
The famous fair of the city of Bad Dürkheim is one of the region’s cultural highlights with over 700.000 visitors. Besides the festival tents where you can drink regional wine and dance and party, there are countless booths with typical German food – sweet and salty – and many other attractions like roller coasters and a huge Ferris wheel! So bring your buddies and friends and have a great time!
We meet on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at Mannheim main station to get to the festival by tram.
We're going to take the tram (4, direction Bad Dürkheim) and you'll have some time to buy a ticket if you don't have a Semesterticket yet! It’s also possible to buy group tickets.
As this is an “Open End” event, we will not organize your way back home. But you don't need to worry about getting lost! There will be a lot of additional trams during the Wurstmarkt so you will get back home. Also we will provide you with the most important information about tram times and taxis.

Lernt das größte Weinfest der Welt kennen! Visum fährt mit euch zum „Dürkheimer Wurstmarkt“, ein typisches Volksfest der Stadt Bad Dürkheim und kultureller Höhepunkt der Region!
Dort könnt ihr zusammen mit über 700 000 Besuchern den Wein aus der Region probieren und euch auf verschiedenen Attraktionen, wie zum Beispiel einem Riesenrad und Achterbahnen, vergnügen.
Ebenso ist das Weinfest eine super Gelegenheit um ein wenig Zeit mit euren Buddies in entspannter Atmosphäre zu verbringen, also ladet eure Buddies ein!
Wir treffen uns am Sonntag um 17:30 Uhr vor dem Mannheimer Hauptbahnhof. Wir nehmen die Straßenbahn Linie 4 und haben noch etwas Zeit ein Ticket zu kaufen, wenn ihr noch kein Semesterticket habt. Es besteht auch die Möglichkeit sich Gruppentickets zu kaufen.
Auf dem Wurstmarkt könnt ihr bleiben solange ihr wollt – müsst aber eure Rückfahrt selber organisieren. Ihr braucht euch keine Sorgen zu machen verloren zu gehen, denn wir werden euch über die Bahnzeiten und Taxinummern informieren.
