++++ Carnival Stammtisch ++++ Scandinavia Party ++++ VISUM Goes Strasbourg ++++
Dear all,
Yesterday some of you could admire the beautiful Neuschwanstein Castle. On our next Daytrip we will visit the "Capital of Europe": Strasbourg. You will get to know the city better during a boat tour and a guided tour through the old town. Then you have the opportunity to explore the city by yourself. The Presale will be at our Carnival Stammtisch tomorrow from 8.30 to 10.00 pm in front of the Cafe L3.
The price is 32 € per ticket. You can only buy a ticket for yourself and we only accept cash.
If you are already at the Carnival Stammtisch tomorrow because of the pre-sale, why not stay longer and celebrate with us the fifth season of Germany? Don't forget to dress up because the three best costumes will win guest list places for the Scandinavia Party Tuesday.
The pictures of the winners will be posted Tuesday noon in our facebook group and on instagram. Please send us a message with your name if you have won. The guest list will be from 11.00 to 12.00 pm.
Our last event next week is the Scandinavia Party at the Chaplin club next Tuesday. Let's celebrate like vikings in Valhalla! Don't forget to bring your Party Pass!

Maybe you've heard about the Carnival in Brazil or you have your own version in your home country. If you're curious how we celebrate the Fifth Season in Germany, come to our Stammtisch on Monday ("Rosenmontag")!
Feel free to wear any kind of costume, the best 3 costumes will be awarded with free entrance to the Scandinavia Party on March 5th. Pictures for the contest are taken until 10 pm. The winners will be announced on Facebook and Instagram.
ESNcards will be sold from 8:30 to 9:30 pm.

There will be no presale this time, only box office.

VISUM International Dinner
Dear exchange student, dear foodies,
Do you prefer chili over wasabi or vice versa? Do you want to try Korean Kimbap or French Quiche Lorraine? Now is the time to do so!
At our International Dinner you can taste a variety of culinary specialties while offering delicacies from your home country!
What do you have to do?
Meet in small groups with your compatriots, prepare food that is typical for your country, and bring traditional drinks.
The idea is to exchange food among each other, so we ask you to bring something if you would like to participate. You don’t need to bring a lot. It should just be sufficient for everyone to try some.
If possible, also bring a plate, cup and cutlery. We will offer some disposables but would like to reduce those with regard to our environment!

It´s time for a VISUM Daytrip!
So why not join us on a trip to the exciting city of Strasbourg, located just across the German-French border in the beautiful Alsace region!
To get to know the city also known as “capital of Europe”, we’ll start with a guided walking tour of the historic city center. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a boat ride and discover Strasbourg from a different perspective. In the afternoon you'll have the choice of some more impressive sights, such as the Cathedral. You´ll also have time to discover Strasbourg´s shops and enjoy a coffee in the famous and charming quarter “La Petite France”.
When? Saturday, April 6th (all day)
Costs: 32 € including trip by bus from Mannheim to Strasbourg and vice versa, guided city tour, boat ride
