Hey guys and welcome to your 11th week with VISUM,
The end of the semester if getting closer and closer, but we still have some fun events planned for you!
Celebrate this fantastic semester with us on Tuesday at our Farewell Party at Chaplin – we’re looking forward to partying with you one last time!
On Saturday, we will be visiting the Bundesliga and watch the football match TSG 1899 Hoffenheim vs. Eintracht Frankfurt.
SocialErasmus has also planned a great thing: you can save a life by collection bottle lids! You just need to collect your plastic bottle lids from bottles and cartons and deposit them in our “lids against polio” box next to the CAMPUS SHOP.
We’re looking forward to seeing you at our last events as this semester comes to a close!

2. VISUM goes Bundesliga (Registration closed)
Come with us to watch TSG 1899 Hoffenheim vs. Eintracht Frankfurt on November 18!
The Bundesliga is the top division of German football. It is sometimes called the most successful entertainment program in the history of Germany.
While Hoffenheim is rather a newcomer in professional German football, Frankfurt already played in the first Bundesliga season in 1963. Their actual positions are close together: Eintracht Frankfurt is ranked on place 8 and TSG Hoffenheim on place 5.
WHEN: Saturday, November 18, 1.15 pm
WHERE: Meeting point is Mannheim Central Station (The train ride to Sinsheim will be one hour, from there it´s only a short walk to the stadium.)
PRICE: 24 € (including the train ride from Mannheim to Sinsheim and back)

Besuch mit uns das Bundesliga Heimspiel der TSG 1899 Hoffenheim gegen Eintracht Frankfurt am 18. November!
Die Bundesliga ist die höchste Spielklasse im deutschen Profifußball und wird gerne als das erfolgreichste Unterhaltungsprogramm in der deutschen Geschichte bezeichnet.
Während Hoffenheim ein eher junger Bundesligaverein ist, war Eintracht Frankfurt bereits bei der ersten deutschen Bundesligasaison 1963 vertreten. Aktuell sind die beiden Vereine dicht beieinander: Eintracht Frankfurt steht auf dem 8. und TSG Hoffenheim auf dem 5. Platz.
WANN: Samstag, 18. November, 13 Uhr
WO: Treffpunkt ist der Hauptbahnhof Mannheim (Die Fahrt nach Sinsheim dauert eine Stunde. Von dort ist es nur noch ein kurzer Fußweg bis zum Stadion)
PREIS: 24 € (inkl. An- und Abreise mit der S-Bahn)

3. VISUM Lids against polio
YOU CAN SAVE A LIFE BY COLLECTING BOTTLE LIDS. Want to know how?
For every 500 lids collected 1 polio vaccination can be provided to children around the world.
Polio is a highly contagious disease that causes paralysis and disabilities in mostly young children, it can even lead to death. Polio is unfortunately incurable, but with your help 1 vaccination can provide life-long protection against polio.
So please collect your plastic bottle lids from bottles and cartons and deposit them in our “lids against polio” box next to the CAMPUS SHOP. Also don’t worry, the lid doesn’t affect your bottle deposit!:)
So please help us save lives and end polio, each lid counts!

LEBEN RETTEN DURCH FLASCHENDECKEL SAMMELN. Du fragst dich wie das geht?
Die Flaschendeckel werden an Recycling Unternehmen verkauft und somit kann für 500 gesammelte Flaschendeckel eine Impfung gegen Polio bereitgestellt werden.
Polio (Kinderlähmung) ist eine hochansteckende Infektionskrankheit, die bei Kindern im jungen Alter zu irreversibler Lähmung führen kann. Bei den Schwerstbetroffenen wird die Atemmuskulatur in Mitleidenschaft gezogen, was zum Tode führen kann. Bereits durch eine Impfung wird ein lebenslanger Schutz gegen die Krankheit gewährleistet und dadurch ein Leben gerettet.
Deshalb sammelt eure Deckel von Flaschen und Kartons und werft sie in unsere Box am CAMPUS SHOP oder im Studentenwohnheim in B7 ein. Außerdem bekommt ihr das Pfand auch ohne die Deckel zurück!:)
Helft uns Leben zu retten und Polio weltweit zu beenden, jeder Deckel zählt!
