New week, new events! This week we have a lot of different events – we are sure you will find one which interests you!
Of course we will start the week with our Stammtisch! This week we have a very special one: Karaoke!
So if you enjoy singing or just want to listen to other people singing – then you should join us at our Karaoke Night!
There will be more than 26,000 songs to choose from in various languages such as English, Spanish, French, Italian and German. If you don’t want to sing alone, you can of course also sing a duet with your friend.
You don’t have to be a good singer, let’s just have some fun together!

We want to light up the night with our Neon Party! Join us for a great PubCrawl afterparty, where not only the people who joined the PubCrawl are welcome - everyone is invited!

Have you ever had a movie night in a castle? Wednesday we will offer a movie night at the university!
Listen up, lovers of fun and movie enthusiasts … VISUM has a special treat for you. Not only will there be a free screening of the German comedy “Fack ju Göhte,” but we will also provide free snacks and soft drinks! The movie was a big hit in Germany and even ranks as the 5th most successful German films of all time. In a nutshell, it is about an innocent, nerdy type of teacher who falls in love with a handsome bad boy type of teacher – and, adding to twists and laughs, there is also a class full of students who aren’t necessarily the brightest bulbs in the box.
The movie will be shown in German with English subtitles. This means that you will get full proof of the fact that Germans actually do have humor while simultaneously being able to improve your German skills.

Enjoy the colorful autumn days outdoors climbing in the forest! VISUM takes you to Forest Adventures – A high ropes course in Viernheim (Kletterwald Viernheim).
Challenge yourself and your friends on 12 different obstacle courses up to 16 meters above ground. You will climb from tree to tree connected with ropes, slides, free fall and other obstacles. Throughout all courses, you will be secured with professional climbing equipment!
We meet on Sunday at 11:15 am at Mannheim main station to get to the high ropes course by tram and bus.
We're going to take the tram 5 and you'll have some time to buy a ticket if you don't have a Semesterticket yet! It’s also possible to buy group tickets.
WHEN? Sunday, October 21st, 11:15am (We will be back around 5:30pm)

HOW MUCH? 13,90€ per person for 3 hours of climbing. (Only cash accepted!!!)

Neue Woche, neue Events!
Natürlich starten wir wie immer mit unserem Stammtisch in die neue Woche. Diese Woche gibt es was ganz Besonderes und zwar die Möglichkeit Karaoke zu singen.
Also falls du gerne singst oder einfach nur anderen dabei gerne zuhörst, dann komm zu unserer Karaoke-Nacht!
Es wird mehr also 26.000 Lieder geben, die du auswählen kannst in verschiedenen Sprachen wie Englisch, Spanisch, Französisch, Italienisch und Deutsch! Wenn du nicht alleine singen möchtest, kannst du natürlich auch ein Duett mit deinen Freunden singen.
Du musst natürlich kein guter Sänger sein, sondern einfach nur Freude daran haben!

Hattet ihr schon mal einen Filmabend in einem Schloss? Am Mittwoch habt ihr die Möglichkeit dazu mit unserer VISUM Castle Movie Night in der Uni!
Für alle Film- und Spaßliebhaber unter euch gilt: bitte aufpassen … denn VISUM hat eine besondere Überraschung für euch! Nicht nur zeigen wir den Film „Fack ju Göhte“ völlig umsonst, sondern wir stellen außerdem kostenlos Snacks und Softdrinks. Der Film war ein großer Erfolg – um genau zu sein rangiert er sogar auf Platz fünf der erfolgreichsten deutschen Filme aller Zeiten. Kurz gesagt geht es darum, dass sich eine etwas streberhafte, schüchterne Lehrerin in einen gutaussehenden Bad Boy Möchtegern-Lehrer verliebt – was den Film jedoch besonders macht, ist die darin vorkommende „Assi-Klasse“, deren Schüler zugegeben nicht gerade zu den hellsten Kerzen auf der Torte zählen.
Wir zeigen den Film auf Deutsch mit englischen Untertiteln – das heißt, ihr könnt zum einen eure Fremdsprachkenntnisse verbessern und euch zum anderen mal wieder bewusst machen, dass wir Deutschen eben doch Humor haben.

Genieß die bunten Herbsttage im Freien beim Klettern im Viernheimer Kletterwald! VISUM nimmt euch mit zu Forest Adventures – dem Hochseilgarten in Viernheim.
Fordere dich selbst und deine Freunde auf 12 verschiedenen Parcours heraus in bis zu 16 Meter Höhe. Du wirst zwischen Bäumen klettern, die durch verschiedenste Hindernisse miteinander verbunden sind. Auf allen Parcours wirst du mit professioneller Kletterausrüstung gesichert sein.
Wir treffen uns am Sonntag um 11:15 Uhr vor dem Mannheimer Hauptbahnhof. Wir nehmen die Straßenbahn Linie 5 und haben noch etwas Zeit ein Ticket zu kaufen, wenn ihr noch kein Semesterticket habt. Es besteht auch die Möglichkeit sich Gruppentickets zu kaufen.
