we hope you all survived your first week of uni and hope that you are not too busy yet, because we have some great upcoming events for you:

Online International Dinner: Cook and Eat International!
Do you prefer chili over wasabi or vice versa? Do you want to try Korean Kimbap or French Quiche Lorraine? Now is the time to do so!
Experience a variety of culinary specialties at our Online International Dinner.
What do you have to do?
Share your cooking skills online! You can either cook some delicacies from your home country and share the recipe with some randomly matched zoom-friends or try out cooking new food from a different country for a new culinary challenge! You are also welcomed to accompany this with traditional drinks.
Hungry yet? Grab your VISUM buddy and your roommate(s), sign in and start cooking and dining together!

- VISUM Café Lingua – all languages!
Hallo, Salut, Hola, Ciao!
Do you enjoy learning other languages and meeting interesting people from different countries? You want to speak German, French, Spanish, English and/or many other languages and help others to practice your mother tongue? If so, then com to our Café Lingua – All Languages.
There you’ll have the chance to improve your language skills in a nice and cozy atmosphere. Feel free to bring your own food and drinks. Who knows, maybe you’ll also find a tandem partner?
Grab your friends and join us.
Due to the current situation a registration is obligatory. Also, we must limit the maximum of participants to 20 people. During the whole event you need to wear a mask, so please bring your own. Please notice that you won’t be able to participate without a registration and a mask.

wir hoffen, dass ihr die erste Uniwoche gut überstanden habt und noch nicht zu beschäftigt seid, weil wir einige tolle Events in den nächsten Wochen für euch geplant haben:

Liebe Austauschstudierende, liebe Foodies,

Beim online internationalen Dinner könnt ihr Speisen und Getränke aus aller Welt nachkochen oder typisches Essen aus eurem Land vorkochen!
Was ist zu tun?
Teile deine Kochkünste online! Du kannst entweder Spezialitäten aus deinem Heimatland kochen und das Rezept mit zufällig zusammengewürfelten Zoom-Freunden teilen oder unter Anleitung anderer, neues Essen aus einem anderen Land nachkochen für eine neue kulinarische Herausforderung! Begleitend dazu sollten die traditionellen Getränke natürlich nicht fehlen.

Wenn du dich auch für Essen begeisterst und mehr über internationales Essen erfahren möchtest, nimm an unserem Speedfriending Event teil: Let’s talk about food.
Das Event findet auf Zoom statt. Alle 10 Minuten wird die Gruppe gewechselt, um das Beste aus jedem Gespräch zu machen und möglichst viele neue Leckereien kennzulernen!

Du lernst gerne Fremdsprachen und triffst dabei interessante Leute aus der ganzen Welt? Dann bist du beim Café Lingua – All languages richtig. Du sprichst Deutsch, Französisch, Spanisch, Englisch und/oder viele andere Sprachen und möchtest anderen dabei helfen, deine Muttersprache zu üben? Dann komm zu unserem Café Lingua International! Dort hast du die Chance, in
einer entspannten Atmosphäre deine Sprachkenntnisse zu verbessern. Gerne kannst du eigene Getränke und Snacks mitbringen. Wer weiß, vielleicht findest du bei der Gelegenheit auch einen Tandempartner?
Aufgrund der aktuellen Situation ist eine vorherige Anmeldung zwingend erforderlich. Leider müssen wir die maximale Teilnehmerzahl auf 20 begrenzen. Während des gesamten Events ist eine Maske zu tragen, bitte bringe daher deine eigene Maske mit. Ohne Anmeldung und ohne Maske ist eine Teilnahme leider nicht möglich.
