We’re taking you to the “Dürkheimer Wurstmarkt”, the best wine festival in the world!
The famous fair in Bad Dürkheim is one of the region’s cultural highlights with over 700.000 visitors. Besides the festival tents where you can drink regional wine, dance and party, there are countless booths with typical German food for all tastes. You can try out the attractions like roller coasters and a huge Ferris wheel. So bring your buddies and friends and have a great time with us!
We will meet on Sunday at 4:45 pm at Mannheim main station to get to the festival. We will take the tram (4, direction Bad Dürkheim). If you have your student ID you won’t need to buy a ticket; all students can go free on weekends!
As this is an “Open End” event we will not organize your way back home, you can stay as long as you want to. But don’t worry about getting lost – there will be a lot of additional trams during the Wurstmarkt so you have several possibilities to get back to Mannheim. We will also provide you with the most important information about tram times and taxis.

Wir nehmen euch mit zum “Dürkheimer Wurstmarkt”!
Die berühmte Messe in Bad Dürkheim ist eins der regionalen kulturellen Highlights mit über 700.000 Besuchern. In den Festzelten könnt ihr regionale Weine trinken, tanzen und feiern; außerdem könnt ihr euch bei den verschiedenen Attraktionen, wie dem Riesenrad und Achterbahnen, vergnügen.
Ebenso ist das Weinfest eine super Gelegenheit, um eine tolle Zeit mit euren Buddies zu verbringen, also ladet sie ein!
Wir treffen uns am Sonntag um 16:45 vor dem Mannheimer Hauptbahnhof. Wir werden die Linie 4 nehmen. Alle Studenten können mit ihrer Ecum am Wochenende kostenlos die Bahn nehmen.
Ihr könnt solange bleiben wie ihr wollt – die Rückfahrt wird selbst organisiert. Ihr braucht euch aber keine Sorgen zu machen, dass ihr verloren geht: für den Wurstmarkt gibt es viele Sonderzüge und wir informieren euch gern über Bahnzeiten und Taxis.
