VISUM Hidden Café Lingua
There will be no Speedfriending on Monday, but instead you can look forward to our Hidden Café Lingua. At this event, the beautiful languages of the world will not only give you a feast for your ears, but your palate will also experience the tickling sensation of delicious food and drinks.
At the beginning, depending on the language you want to learn or speak, you will split into groups and make your way to your own language café, where you will learn about the culture and language of your group members until evening.

VISUM – Get together
Don't feel like having yet another Zoom event? Say no more!
VISUM is organizing a low key get together on Thursday the 30th of September for all internationals, Buddies and VISUM members (and those who might want to be in the future). Take this opportunity to enjoy the last summer days with us and meet people from all over the world. Grab a blanket and your buddy(s) and come chill with us at the river. Don't forget to bring your own drinks!

VISUM International Dinner
Do you want to try Korean Kimbap or French Quiche Lorraine? Now is the time to do so! Experience a variety of culinary specialties at our Online International Dinner.
Share your cooking skills online! You can either cook something from your home country and share the recipe with some zoom-friends or try out cooking new food from a different country for a new challenge! You are also welcome to accompany this with traditional drinks.

VISUM goes Frankfurt
Hurray to another fun city trip! Frankfurt am Main is the financial center of Europe. Nicknamed “Mainhattan”, Frankfurt offers not only the most modern skyscrapers, but also historical buildings showcasing its rich history since the Middle Ages. Join us and students from Siegen to discover its architecture, culture, and cuisine all packed in one day!
Where: We will be taking the train to Frankfurt at the main station Mannheim.
When: October 9th, 8.15 am

Hallo ihr Lieben,
diese Woche haben wir wieder zwei außergewöhnliche Events geplant.
VISUM Hidden Café Lingua
Am Montag gibt es diesmal kein Speedfriending, jedoch könnt ihr euch stattdessen auf unser Hidden Café Lingua freuen. Bei diesem Event bereiten euch die schönen Sprachen der Welt nicht nur einen Ohrenschmaus, auch euer Gaumen soll das Kitzeln von leckerem Essen und Getränken erfahren.
Am Anfang teilt ihr euch je nach Sprache, die ihr lernen oder sprechen wollt in Gruppen auf und macht euch auf dem Weg zu eurem eigenen Sprachencafé, wo ihr bis in den Abend hinein etwas über Kultur und Sprache eurer Gruppenmitglieder erfahrt.

VISUM Get together
Es wird wieder ein Get together geben!
Keine Lust mehr auf reine Zoom Events? Kein Problem!
VISUM veranstaltet am Donnerstag, dem 30. September ab 17 Uhr ein lockeres Get Together für alle Internationals, Buddys, VISUMler (und die die es noch werden wollen). Nutzt die Gelegenheit und das Spätsommerwetter und lernt neue Leute aus der ganzen Welt kennen. Schnappt euch eine Decke und euren Buddy und chillt mit uns am Fluss. Vergesst eure Drinks nicht! ;)

Erlebt eine Vielfalt an kulinarischen Spezialitäten bei unserem Online International Dinner.
Was müsst ihr dafür tun?
Stellt eure Kochkünste online zur Verfügung! Ihr könnt entweder einige Köstlichkeiten aus eurem Heimatland kochen und das Rezept mit einigen zufällig zusammengestellten Zoom-Freunden teilen oder ihr versucht, neue Gerichte aus einem anderen Land zu kochen, um eine neue kulinarische Herausforderung zu erleben! Ihr könnt auch gerne traditionelle Getränke dazu reichen.
Schon hungrig? Schnapp dir deinen VISUM-Freund und deine(n) Mitbewohner, melde dich an und fang an, gemeinsam zu kochen und zu essen!

Juhuu zu einem weiteren Citytrip! Frankfurt am Main ist das Finanzzentrum von Europa. Mit dem Spitznamen "Mainhattan" bietet Frankfurt nicht nur die modernsten Wolkenkratzer, sondern auch historische Gebäude, die die reiche Geschichte der Stadt seit dem Mittelalter wiederspiegeln. Entdeckt mit uns und den Studenten aus Siegen die Architektur, Kultur und Küche der Stadt an einem Tag!
Wo: Wir treffen uns am Mannheimer Hauptbahnhof und fahren gemeinsam nach Frankfurt.
