1. VISUM French Night 09.03.10

Feiert mit uns durch die legendäre French Night der Internationalen Partyreihe! Vive la France am 09.03.10 im Zapatto am Hbf ab 22 Uhr.

2. VISUM Brauereiführung 12.03.10 - Karten gibts Morgen

Trinkt Ihr gerne Bier und interessiert euch dafür, wie es hergestellt wird?
Dann seid ihr bei der VISUM-Brauereiführung genau richtig! Wir fahren zur Brauerei Welde nach Plankstadt, wo uns erklärt wird, wie man Bier braut. Anschließend haben wir zwei Stunden Zeit, um uns vom Geschmack der verschiedenen WELDE-Biersorten beim Freibiertrinken zu überzeugen. Als Souvenir bekommt ihr ein WELDE-Bierglas.

Treffpunkt ist am Freitag, 12. März um 14:20 am Hauptbahnhof.
 
Tickets kosten nur 10 € incl. Freibier und ein Welde-Bierglas als Souvenir!

Ticketverkauf: Montag, 8.3. + Dienstag, 9.3. 12 - 14 Uhr an der Mensa.

3. Breakfast & Movie 13.03.10 - Karten gibts Morgen

Erst gemütlich mit Freunden frühstücken und dann entspannt einen Film genießen? Das bietet euch VISUM am Samstag, 13.03. ab 11:00 Uhr im Odeon Café und Kino und das alles für unschlagbare 4,00 Euro!

Diesmal zeigen wir euch (500) Days of Summer, einen Film über einen Jungen, der ein Mädchen trifft. Aber dies ist keine konventionelle Liebesgeschichte, wie der Film selbst schon vorwarnt. Vielmehr ist es ein amüsantes Spiel mit den Klischees rund um die Liebe, kombiniert mit einer großen Portion Humor.

4. VISUM International Dinner 16.03.10 - Jetzt anmelden

An alle Austauschstudierenden der Universität Mannheim:

Ihr wolltet immer schon mal mexikanische Enchiladas, französische Quiche Lorraine, oder schwedische Kötbullar probieren? Dann habt ihr jetzt die Gelegenheit dazu! Beim internationalen Dinner könnt ihr Speisen und Getränke aus aller Welt probieren und gleichzeitig typisches Essen aus Eurem Land vorstellen!

Am 16.3.2010 findet das International Dinner in den Katakomben der Universität statt. Das Dinner wird vom Akademischen Auslandsamt und VISUM gemeinsam organisiert.

Wie es funktioniert: Findet Euch in Gruppen zusammen mit Leuten aus Eurem Land, bereitet etwas Landestypisches zu und bringt nach Möglichkeit auch noch typische Getränke mit. Bitte beachtet folgendes: Die Idee ist, sich gegenseitig landestypische Spezialitäten vorzustellen. Wenn ihr am Dinner teilnehmen wollt, bringt bitte auch selbst etwas mit. Ihr müsst nicht allzu viel zubereiten, aber so viel dass es für jeden zum Probieren ausreicht. Das Dinner beginnt um 18.30 Uhr.

Euer deutscher Buddy ist auch herzlich eingeladen! Bitte beachtet, dass sich auch deutsche Buddies online anmelden müssen. Außerdem ist geplant, ein internationales Kochbuch zusammen zu stellen mit allen Rezepten vom Dinner. Es wäre toll, wenn ihr euer Rezept zum Dinner mitbringt!

Ihr wollt endlich mal sehen, wie es "hinter den Kulissen" von VISUM aussieht, könnt euch vorstellen selber mal etwas in die Hand zu nehmen oder ihr seid einfach neugierig? Dann kommt doch einfach zu unserer wöchentlichen Mitgliedersitzung, jeden Montag um 19 Uhr im EW 169. Die nächste Sitzung ist am 09. März 2010.

Enjoy a nice little breakfast with your friends and then watch a movie in the movie theatre next door? VISUM offers you this event on Saturday, March 13th at ODEON Cinema for only 4.00 EUR.

4. VISUM International Dinner 16.03.10 - Sign up now

Dear exchange students of the University of Mannheim:

You always wanted to try original Mexican Enchiladas, French Quiche Lorraine, or Swedish Kötbullar? Now is the time to do it! The International Dinner offers you the opportunity to get to know different culinary specialties and you can present specialties from your home country.

The Dinner will take place on March, 16 in the Uni’s catacombs. It is organized by the International Office and VISUM and we would like to invite you to this event!

What to do: get together in small groups with people from your country, prepare food that is typical for your country and bring typical drinks. Please notice: The idea is to exchange food, so we ask you to bring something if you would like to participate. You don’t need to bring a lot, but it should be sufficient for people to try. The dinner will start at 6.30 p.m.
